I acquired my NH on eBay from Zhao Xiaodong in 2014.
The NH appears to be milled from steel, although it might forged: black paint covers the construction. Mine is 145 mm. tall, 124 mm. wide, and 10 mm. thick. The rope hole is 81 mm. high and 82 mm. wide. The top center thickness is 10 mm. The shaft length and width are 25 mm. and 28 mm., respectively. The eye measures 20 mm. by 20 mm. The ears are 41.5 and 41.5 mm. long. My NH weighs 315 g.
One side is printed with the NH logo and "30kN."
This is another example of a T–side eight. I am not sure that "NH" is correct, since the logo could also be read "HN," "HV," or even "ΛH." THis eight is identical to the Orion-Alp Steel Combo, and may have been made by Orion-Alp.
I dislike the painted finish, since this will simply wear off, leaving a mess on the rope. The steel construction adds weight that I find unnecessary. The rope hole is quite large, perhaps unnecessarily so, but the eye is too small: it will admit only one carabiner. The shaft is long enough to keep the rope from running over the carabiner. The side horns are large enough to allow reliable tie-offs.

Hundreds of cell phone users complained and asked me to for a simpler, mobile friendly site. In particular, they wanted me to limit each page to a small number of pictures and minimize my use of text. This new site provides what they asked for.
