Michael Oatney gave me this eight in 2023.
This eight is welded from 3/8" (9.5 mm.) stainless steel rod. It is 163 mm. tall, 82 mm. wide, and 11 mm. thick. The rope hole is 64 mm. high and 63 mm. wide. The top center thickness is 9 mm. The shaft length and width are 9 mm. and 42 mm., respectively. The eye measures 71 mm. by 29 mm. My eight weighs 235 g.
This is another welded steel rod figure eight. Mike designed it and had it made at a local welding shop.
This eight will last forever and not corrode, but it is too heavy for my taste.
For far more content, use a larger monitor and a full-width window.
