I acquired this eight from John Fioroni in 2020.
This eight is welded from 11 mm. non-magnetic stainless steel rod, probably 316. It is 150 mm. tall, 79 mm. wide, and 46 mm. thick. The rope hole is 63 mm. high and 57 mm. wide. The top center thickness is 11 mm. The shaft length and width are 37 mm. and 11 mm., respectively. The eye measures 32 mm. by 24 mm. My eight weighs 276 g.
There are no markings on this eight.
This is another welded steel rod figure eights. It resembles the Vertical Supply Offset Eight LT, and I suspect that it is a noncommercial copy of that eight. This eight is more symmetrical; however, I don't see that as particularly affecting the eight’s functionality.
The stainless steel construction makes this eight quite durable; however, it also makes it too heavy for my taste.
For far more content, use a larger monitor and a full-width window.
