The Xinda is forged from aluminum alloy and then soft anodized.
My Xinda is 145 mm. tall, 76 mm. wide, and 16 mm. thick. The rope hole is 52 mm. high and 52 mm. wide. The top center thickness is 12 mm. The shaft length and width are 46 mm. and 26 mm., respectively. The eye measures 24 mm. by 24 mm. My eight weighs 137 g.
The top has "MADE IN CHINA" in raised letters on both sides. The depression in the front of the shaft has a raised logo and "XINDA" in raised letters. The rear of the shaft has "35 KN" in raised characters.
The Xinda is a typical example of a full sized, forged, aluminum figure eight. The lack of a hard finish allows it to wear quickly. The eye is not designed for "Sticht" belaying.
