I acquired this rack from Howell-N-Mann in 1993.
My Howell-N-Mann Twin rack is 416 mm. tall, 166 mm. wide, 20 mm. thick, and weighs 830 g. The frame is made from 9.5 mm. ASTM grade 6 6Al/4V titanium alloy bent into shape. The bar channel internal widths are 20 mm., and the central channel’s is 39 mm.
There is one large (167 mm. long) common hyperbar at the top, and five smaller (52 mm. long) standard bars on each side. All eleven bars are 19 mm. in diameter. The bars are titanium tubing (same type as the frame) with hollow aluminum inserts to absorb and dissipate heat. Note the dimples in the bars - these help hold the aluminum inserts in place. Allowing 45 mm. for the rope leaves 116 mm. for spreading the bars.
There are no markings on this rack.
The twin is an experimental rack that Larry Howell designed for controlling two ropes simultaneously in a rescue situation. As far as I know, Larry only made two of these - this one (the second) at my request.
Larry jokes that this rack is designed to fry hamburgers, but I wouldn't recommend doing that if you intend to rappel on it afterward.

Version B is 398 mm. tall, 176 mm. wide, 19 mm. thick, and weighs 826 g. The frame is made from 9.5 mm. ASTM grade 6 6Al/4V titanium alloy bent into shape. The bar channel internal widths are 20 mm., and the central channel’s is 26 mm., enlarging to 34 mm. at the base.
There is one large (176 mm. long) common hyperbar at the top, and five smaller (51 mm. long) standard bars on each side. All eleven bars are 19 mm. in diameter. The bars are titanium tubing (same type as the frame) with hollow aluminum inserts to absorb and dissipate heat. Allowing 45 mm. for the rope leaves 94 mm. for spreading the bars.
There are no markings on this rack.
Version B is shorter and wider than Version A. The central channel is narrower, but it bells out at the base. The bars do not have the dimples for retaining the aluminum inserts, but this does not seem to be an issue. The shorter length reduces the amount that the bars can be spread, but once again, this does not seem to be an issue.
For far more content, use a larger monitor and a full-width window.
