I acquired this Chinese eight on eBay from motorpartsvalue in 2023.
The Chinese eighti s forged 304 Stainless Steel. Mine is 142 mm. tall, 85 mm. wide, and 49 mm. thick. The rope hole is 72 mm. high and 60 mm. wide. The top center thickness is 13 mm. The shaft length and width are 23 mm. and 14 mm., respectively. The eye measures 22 mm. by 22 mm. and is twisted 90°. My eight weighs 382 g.
Both sides have "ZZP 304" stamped into a flat recess at the top of the rope loop.
This eight is too large and heavy for my taste.
For far more content, use a larger monitor and a full-width window.
