I acquired this eight from Caroline Campbell in 2010.
This eight is forged from aluminum alloy. It is 176 mm. tall, 100 mm. wide, and 13 mm. thick. The rope hole is 60 mm. high and 60 mm. wide. The top center thickness is 13 mm. The shaft length and width are 59 mm. and 25 mm., respectively. The eye measures 25 mm. by 25 mm. It weighs 201 g.
There are no markings on this eight.
This eight is too large and heavy for my taste.
Almost all that I know about the origin of this eight is that it is British. The shape does not match that of any other eight in my collection, nor do I recall seeing one like this in the literature.
For far more content, use a larger monitor and a full-width window.
