I acquired this Pittsburgh Grotto cable ladder from a Pittsburgh Grotto member in the 1990s, but I did not record the details.
This ladder is 10 m. long with 33 aluminum rungs spaced 305 mm. apart. Each rung is 165 mm. long and 12.6 mm. in diameter with a 1.7 mm. wall thickness. The cable is 3.3 mm. steel. The rungs are secured by top & bottom crimps. The eyes are crimped with eye protectors.
One rung is stamped "CARNEGIE MUSEUM."
This ladder was retired. It was probably made in the mid-1960s and is still in fair condition, but I would not trust the steel cable after so many years.

Hundreds of cell phone users complained and asked me to for a simpler, mobile friendly site. In particular, they wanted me to limit each page to a small number of pictures and minimize my use of text. This new site provides what they asked for.
