I acquired my Clog, Version A from John Vaartjes in 2005.
This Clog is 63 mm. tall, 63 mm. wide, 15 mm. thick, and weighs 58 g. It has no spring.
This plate is stamped "CLOG WALES" on one side.
This is a normal forged double-rope "Sticht" plate.
I bought this plate on eBay in 2005, but it is clearly much older than that. Functionally, it is identical to the Cosmic Arrestor, and may even have been sold under that name, but since I acquired this second hand, I can't be sure, so I've listed it without a specific name. The only differences between this version and the Cosmic Arrestor are the markings. The red lettering appears to be original.

I acquired my Clog, Version B from Ron H. Clementi in 2021.
Version B is a forged from aluminum alloy. Mine is 62 mm. long, 63 mm. wide, 14 mm. high, and weighs 60 g. It has two slots that are 30 mm. long. It has no spring.
This plate is stamped "CLOG WALES" on one side.
Version B is similar to Version A. It does not have the red letters, but the letters are thicker and crisper than those on Version A. Similarly, the horizontal notches are deeper and more well-defined than those on Version A.

I acquired Version C from Joe MacLeod in 2006.
Version C is 179 mm. tall, 63 mm. wide, 15 mm. thick, and weighs 75 g.
Version C includes a 3.3 mm. (1/8 in.) cable keeper protected by heat-shrink tubing.
One side is has "CLOG" in raised letters, the other "GREAT BRITAIN" as well as being stamped "433."
The cable keeper doesn't get tangled in the rope as easily as the accessory cord loop that I added to Version A does.

I acquired three Version A Clog Cosmic Arrestors from Bev Pearson in 2021.
The Clog Cosmic Arrestor is a sticht-type belay plate. It is forged from aluminum alloy. Mine are 62 mm. long, 62 mm. wide, 14 mm. high, and weigh 66 g. each. They have two slots that are 29 mm. long.
These plates are stamped "CLOG" on one side and with "GREAT BRITAIN" on the other.
The Clog Cosmic Arrestor is a normal forged double-rope "Sticht" plate. This version lacks the polished finish and the stamped lot number of Version B.

This Clog Cosmic Arrestor is 62 mm. tall, 62 mm. wide, 14 mm. thick, and weighs 64 g. It has two slots that are 30 mm. long.
This plate is stamped "CLOG" on one side and with "GREAT BRITAIN" and "328" on the other.
The Clog Cosmic Arrestor is a normal forged double-rope "Sticht" plate.
