Bliss Climbing Tech sent me four GG Modifier Prototypes in 2024.
The GG Modifier is a printed plastic Grigri attachment with a cord loop. Mine is 70 mm. long, 19 mm. wide, 13 mm. high, and weighs 6 g.
Prototypes #1 and #2 have no markings. Prototypes #3 and #4 have "BCT" printed into one side.
The GG Modifier creates a second attachment point for holding a Grigri upright, eliminating the need to permanently modify the Grigri for Lead Rope Solo climbing.
Bliss Climbing Tech states the following on their GG Modifier product page:
Safety Notice: Note that Petzl forbids HERE the use of the Grigri and NEOX for LRS [Lead Rope Solo] and it is dangerous to do so. The Grigri is unsafe for LRS and the NEOX more so. The GG Modifier does not make it safer.

Bliss Climbing Tech sent me one Version B GG Modifier in 2024..
This GG Modifier is a printed PETG Grigri attachment with a cord loop. Mine is 70 mm. long, 19 mm. wide, 13 mm. high, and weighs 6 g.
This GG Modifier is designed to be glued to a Petzl Grigri Plus, Grigri 2, Grigri 3, or Neox to hold it in the upright position as part of a lead rope solo climbing system. I attached mine to a Neox. The resulting combination is 106 mm. long, 64 mm. wide, 43 mm. high, and weighs 242 g.
This GG Modifier has "BCT" printed into one side.
The GG Modifier comes with a small tube of Aquaseal® for attaching it to a Grigri Using Aquaseal® allows removing the GG Modifier to return the Grigri to its original configuration.
The GG Modifier also comes with two replacement cords.
Yann Camus of Bliss Climbing Tech sent me the following note describing the materials used:
The pink cord is made of Polypropylene (PP). The new black cord is Nylon, offering greater abrasion resistance and slightly higher strength.
All the gold GG Modifiers I sent you are made of PLA, while the grey and blue ones are PETG. We’ll be transitioning to 100% PETG soon since it’s more UV-resistant and durable, even though PLA has slightly higher tensile strength (but is more brittle). The PLA was 'good enough,' much like the pink cord, but now the materials are more optimized.

Hundreds of cell phone users complained and asked me to for a simpler, mobile friendly site. In particular, they wanted me to limit each page to a small number of pictures and minimize my use of text. This new site provides what they asked for.
