I suppose this idea was so obvious that no one bothered to write about it, because I can't imagine that everyone overlooked this idea as long as I did. It works, but why bother? The Prusik works fine without the carabiner, and if I want a carabiner knot, I'll stick with the RBS or the Bachmann. Enough said.
